Four Winds Library - Toronto, Ontario

The Four Winds Library (FWL) is a lending library for storytellers owned by Toronto storyteller Norm Perrin, which operates out of 632 Pape Ave, Toronto. Two blocks south of Pape subway station, on the west side of Pape.

It is open to all storytellers, teachers and other professionals as wellas the casual reader. Most books are available for borrowing except forcertain valuable or delicate volumes. These may be read at the libraryitself. Donations are requested for use of the library. These donations allow the Four Winds Library to expand its collection.

With nearly 1,600 books of folktales and reference material, the FWLcovers every continent (Except Antarctica!) and most of the world'scountries. The FWL is arranged by country, culture, theme and reference.A catalogue is in the works, as is a website.

Opening hours: The Four Winds Library is open by appointment.

Book or story searches: Norm Perrin will search for that story you are unable to track down!
Fee: The cost of the book and a $5.00 administration fee.
