Victoria Victoria Storytellers Guild

The Victoria Storytellers' Guild is a group of people who love stories.

Stories brought us together in 1989, and continue to bring us pleasure. As we listen to each other and tell to each other, we learn better how to do both; how to improve our craft.

We tell:
-- Folk tales, fairy tales, old legends.
-- Contemporary myths and other creations.
-- Standing up or sitting down, sometimes with song, rhythm and verse.

You are welcome to join us at our monthly meetings. We also have social gatherings, workshops, special guests and a library. We stay in touch with storytellers from all over the world.

In 2009 Victoria Storytellers' Guild will play host to the Storytellers of Canada-Conteurs du Canada's National Conference Jul 8 - 12
