Having discovered storytelling in 1987 she became involved in the newly emerging Society for Storytelling and has used her organisational skills for them since 1994. She currently acts as Secretary, book-keeper, Magazine editor and sales stand manager. Born in Jonesborough, Tennessee (self proclaimed Storytelling Capital of the World) David Joe grew up surrounded by family storytellers. He later became the Staff Storyteller for the National Storytelling Association while on staff as a coordinator in Jonesborough. David Joe now lives near Philadelphia and travels the world telling stories and teaching corporate executives how to use narrative in presentations and corporate communications.
