Les conteurs des Productions Cormoran Julie Turconi et François-Xavier Liagre ont été invités par le CCRD (Centre Culturel de la Région Dunkerquoise) à participer au festival de conte DIS-MOI… 2009 sur le thème : « 20 000 lieues sur la terre ».
À cette occasion, nous offrirons une séance tout public (à partir de 10 ans) de notre spectacle « Le tour du monde en 80 minutes » le dimanche 8 novembre 2009 à 16 h au Centre Jean Cocteau de Saint-Pol-Sur-Mer.
Suivront deux séances scolaires le lundi 9 novembre au matin au collège Le Septentrion de Bray-Dunes.
FX est originaire de Bretagne, la contrée de l'Ankou, mais il vit à Montréal depuis plusieurs années. Auteur-compositeur-interprète ayant participé avec succès à plusieurs concours de chanson provinciaux, écrivain (publié aux éditions Quebecor, Marchand de Feuilles), informaticien et pratiquant d'arts martiaux depuis plus de vingt ans, ce conteur reconnu sur la scène québécoise compte de multiples cordes à son arc !
Conteuse, mais aussi écrivaine (éditions Blanche, Thunder's Mouth Press, Quebecor), poète et dessinatrice, Julie se plaît à saisir des petits instants de vie, des moments sans importance, si éphémères qu’ils en deviennent précieux. Effeuilleuse de vie, elle ôte une à une les feuilles accumulées sur la surface de nos existences pour mieux mettre à nu les reflets de notre âme. Elle pratique elle aussi les arts martiaux, externes et internes, et se forme en soins énergétiques.

In a globalised world of migration, ideas of home and homeland are shifting. But this is nothing new. For over five centuries the Scots ranged out, first through Europe and then to the new worlds of America, Asia and Australasia.
For the Year of Homecoming in 2009 the Scottish International Storytelling Festival will explore the rich and complex idea of 'homeland' by bringing together Scottish storytellers with tradition bearers from the indigenous cultures of North America, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa with whom they interacted and among whom some married and settled.
The Festival will both celebrate and question the idea of 'nature', while retelling vivid historical and contemporary life narratives that bridge cultural divides to reveal the earth as humanity's common homeland.
