Storytellers School of Toronto Storytelling Awards - information

From Seek out the Voice of the Critical by Ben Heggarty:

All of this immediately presents us with two practical questions: "What technical skills could and should professional storytellers reasonably be looking to develop in Britain today?" and "What talents should be subjected to critical evaluation?' Is is worth remembering that in other established interpretive art forms, such as Ballet or Classical Music, it is immediately and painfully evident if someone has been trained in their skill and whether they have talent or not ... If those of us actively involved with rediscovering and reinventing the telling of traditional tales do not identify areas of technical skill to experiment with, research and develop soon, the audiences will sense complacency and drift a way with the impression 'The Storytelling Revival' isn't going anywhere'
