Born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario and now living in Nova Scotia, Joanna has trained and worked with children most of her life, primarily special needs children. She is currently working as a Library clerk and supply Educational Assistant while writing new stories and researching the history of the area for more stories to write. She is also a singer, musician and writer. She has performed storytelling ,skits, songs snd puppetry in numerous schools, churches, libraries, seniors residences, Upper Clements Parks and other venues. She delights in spinning original stories, folk tales, historical (fiction and non-fiction), humorous and chilling tales for people of all ages.
