Joan Eyolfson Cadham is an award winning freelance writer who turned to storytelling when she discovered a rich legacy of ancient Icelandic fairy tales and legends filled with the hidden folk (elves with attitude), giant trolls and a very genuine heroine who, in the early 1000s, walked across Europe to Rome to report on her visit to a new world. Joan lives and works in Foam Lake, SK, part of the area that Icelandic pioneers called Vatnabyggd.
