Pat discovered the magic of storytelling through working with children. She can enchant adult audiences as well. Her repertoire includes world myth, folk and fairy tales, and historic stories.
She is closely associated with The Buffalo Jump Artists' Collective, booking and arranging storytellers and musicians every National Aboriginal Day. She is also a member of Bluffer's Tales and The Canadian Association of Storytellers for Children.Highlights of her career include performances at High Park, Fort York, Harbourfront, the Native Canadian Centre and the Toronto Festival of Storytelling.
Pat's nursery school profession leaves her unavailable mornings from September to June, but she is willing to travel in July and August.
Specific Programs Offered
Preschool - Grade 3
Pat brings intimate familiarity to a large collection of world folk and fairy tales. Many of her stories involve audience participation- poems, songs and singing games may be included. General, Seasonal or Thematic programs are also available.
School age - Adult
Pat's selection of world myth, folk and fairy tales reflect Canada's cultural diversity. She is also noted for historic stories of familiar and lesser-known Canadians, gathered in her Tales of Courage series of explorers and adventurers
