Allice has a passion for storytelling & a strong belief that when Truth is dressed in Story (as the old tale goes…) we can accept it more easily, and so transform our lives.

Certainly, discovering the art of storytelling has transformed Allice’s life.  With “Story” as a boon companion she has ventured into new territory & has found herself involved in literacy projects & the exploration of other cultures which, in turn, has led to cultural exchanges in other lands. Storytelling in seniors’ residences has become a richly rewarding experience as has sharing nursery rhymes & hilarious action verse with toddlers … storytelling is an art, yes, but it’s also really, really fun!

Allice lives on Bowen Island, B.C. but, happily, she can also be found telling stories in festivals, seniors’ centres, classrooms, cafes &  wherever people gather on that "land across the water." And beyond this land, too, for Allice has adventured with storytelling in America, Australia, Cuba & Jamaica.

What next?  Let’s trust that her new motto:  Have stories … will travel will lead to even more story-filled adventures to share back home on Bowen!
